30 text msg limit

is there anyway to make so you can have more than 30 text msgs in your inbox?

I'd guess that's the sms location seem edit .... try seeing
what 0032_0001, offset 40 bit 6 is set to ... 0 = phone and 1 = sim.
If it's set to sim you'll have a reduce capacity :-)

Yea when the phone sets the texts to the phone instead of the sim you can get about 120 or so...I think I had 53 inbox and 63 outbox when it said I was full....

right - before we go any further you need to read the guide on seem
editing. Check guides tab at the top. 'Cos if you don't understand
what's going on or what you are doing to your phone you'll end up
with a pretty paper weight.

Where the guides say to use a hex editor you can now find this
function in P2KTools (and it's MUCH easier :-) )

Ok, so i went into p2k tools, and unchecked offset 40 bit 6, restarted the phone, and still, i'm getting a "memory is low" warning. Any ideas?

on my Pebl, it selectable right in the text message setup menu, look there too. Try deleting some stuff you dont use too, videos and screensavers are memory hogs.

Yep--there it was, in the "setup" menu. I don't remember seeing it there before, but thanks!
