ringtone trouble with my razr

i am having trouble with my ringtones......i cant rename them and cant apply them as default ringtone....also in my alarm when i scroll it just goes till ambient mood after that it exits 2 office tools i tried master reset..........do i have to flash my razr.....if so how pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez hellllp

Have you installed any ring tones to it before it started doing this?
