Have you followed the Get Connected guide found in the guides section? You need to install a few drivers to get everything working.

the problem is i have already set up my phone to the motorola phone tools so i dont know how to set it up now.

motorola phone tools and the p2k programs can be installed on the same comp...just follow the guides...:)

Also don't try to run MPT and any p2k apps at the same time, its just not going to work.

Okay I gotta question Im new to the forum and i noticed that their is not to much info for the Motorola PEBL. Me myself i got the sidekick 3, and for my wife i got the razr, thanks to this website i found out how to add ringtones to her phone, but my question is that would it be the same way of adding ringtones to the Pebl as it is for the razr same set up and everything. Sorry if i posted this in the wrong topic but i seen he had trouble readin the phone w/ p2k commander. Any feedback would be appriciated

yes, I am not sure if the pebl has a c directory but if it does then the ringtones go in c/mobile/audio

mann didnt expect results that fast thanks i guess the only way to find out is actually trying it. Thanks for the fast feed back. Now i gotta find out how to do screensavers on these 2 phones, and what size r both screens i got plenty of wallpapers as i used to work for nextel back in the days

I agree Skiman is awesome.
I run both P2K Commander and MPT (not at the same time)
I notice that switching the P2K daemon - right click the star on the task bar to set option to AT mode for MPT works great (Star is blue)
and switching to P2K mode (yellow star) works for P2K Commander.

i know he got his answer before, but i still can't connect p2k to my phone. it installs up to the usb composite device. any help here would be appreciated.

p2k commander doesn't even start up for me all i get is an error noise and that rotating phone graphic. then the progam has to end process....
