View Full Version : OMG I need skin help

I've read all the guides I can handle. Someone please tell me the easiest way to put skins on a V3. I've downloaded P2k commander but it always freezes up and I've seen this thing called skinner4moto but it says V3X so I don't think it'll work for a V3. These .rar files are being a bitch for me too:angryfire:

extract the files out of the .rar then install te skin using this guide (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/installingskins.php)

Do I need a specific skin? I've seen 12 icon and 9 icon iphone skins. Does that even matter? But I'll give this a whirl cuz You haven't been wrong yet.

you can use either but a 12 icon menu would mean a custom menu file, which is another job

damn it took forever to find a nine icon iphone download. I got it and now wish me luck and hope I don't fudge up my V3

ahh not enough free space! do i just delete all my games and stuff of no value to me?

i went under my skins menu in my phone and there is a skin i wanted but when i set it i doesn't do anything. Also, how do i get it off, cuz the program won't show my skins like the guide says it will

okay I got the skin on but whenever I hit menu there are no icons. just titles that overlap as i scroll. do you know of any good nine icon iphone downloads?

Nope sorry. I just downloaded it and closed out my window. I'll look for it real quick

Thanks for all your help clarkey. I've got a skin on it now but three of the icons don't appear. I can deal with that for now but I gotta sleep now. Once again thanks for the help
