1.Use P2k tools to enable Java app loader
2.Download Motorola_MIDway_v2.8
3.go to menu>settings>Java settings>Java app loader.
4.It will say connect cable,connect it.
5.use Motorola_MIDway_v2.8 to upload games.

this is for the newer s/w versions.Like mine,you will get a unsupported platform error.

is this compatible aswell with the l2?

Yes, L6 & L2 has the same software. So it should be able to work for the L2 aswell. Best of luck! :D :D

ive tried different versions of midman and i keep getting the unsupported platform error. I have windows XP. im not sure what the firmware is, but i just got the phone, brand new from cingular a couple days ago. Ive tried changing the mode to MODE2,Mode2,2, Mode 2 and nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated

Most probably you're running the R3517 firmware which is unsupported by Motomidman. You will need to patch it so that it will work. Get the patch from this (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3439) thread and then patch Motomidman with it. It should work. Btw, welcome to Modmymoto!! ;) :D
