Ok, I found a list of seem edits for the V3c and was happily changing stuff, until I noticed when I select 'Create Message' it goes straight to a text message. Also when I take a picture the right soft key still says 'send' but when I try that, it says 'Cannot send file. Send restricted' so I opened up my original back up and put it on the phone, and it changed nothing....The weird thing is that there is extra info in the backup I made check out these screenshots: (click for full size)

So I went back and changed everything back to how I had it, and now it's still screwed up....The seem I suspected was 2742 Offset 63 bit 1 I was told this enables 'New Message>New letter>' allowing 3000 characters max. thought it sounded too good to be true, and it is. Except I swear it changed my max characters on SMS messages to 160 instead of 140, but when I click this off, my max is still 160 and I am still restricted on sending picture messages :cussing:
So I'm going to list all the offsets in seem 2742 record 1 I can remember changing (I kept a list , but I didn't mark them until I saw they worked and the last few I forgot to mark, so now I'm wondering if I changed one and forgot)
Offset 63 bit 1 - Stupid 3000 char limit
Offset 29 bit 1 - Enables keypad lock
Offset 4b bit 0 - GPS icon checked for crosshair, unchecked for sattelite
Offset 74 Bit 1- check for 1x indicator uncheck for D (digital indicator)
Offset 000a bit 7 - enables continous backlight
Offset 000b bit 2 - Enables SMS Center service menu (STUPID!)
Offset 0024 bit 2 - Enables press and hold 1 for voicemail
Offset 0062 bit 5 - Enables changing MMS pic server under inbox setup>mms message setup

I have left the hold 1 for voicemail because I have enabled and disabled it without change and I really like having this feature)
One other thought before I close: In another thread I was told to change seem 2742 offset 0001d for the startup animation. but they also said to do the bytes as 0099 and another says 0090, I left the bytes set at 07a which is the default on p2kseem, does this have anything to do with it?
So that's all the info I can think to provide on my problem. I have posed a few questions in this post and they are as follows:
1) How do I get my picture messaging unrestricted?:wtf: :banghead: :cussing:
2)Anyone know why my backup has the extra crap in it?
3) Can anyone that has a UC Cellular V3c with sw ver: GATW_03.16.02P download their seem 2742 record 0001 and send it to me so I can see if a clean one will fix it? (PM me for my e-mail addy if you have a clean one and are willing)
