[Guide] to PDS backup with FlashBackup3

This guide will show you how to backup your phone's PDS with fb3.

Requirements:
07.D0 Bootloader
FB3 - Flashbackup 3 - obviously

1. Open FB3
2. Let it connect to your phone, you'll get the green light on the bottom when your connected.
3. Click the "Read Data" tab
4. Select the "Generic for phones with boot ver. up to 07.D0" in the active profiles on the top.
5. Check the box next to pds.
6. Check the box that says "Cut empty bytes..."
7. Hit "Read data"

Now, once its finished making the backup, find it on your computer (see the settings tab in fb3 to see where it saved it to), it should be 64kb in size.

you can make a backup of it but there still no way to flash it back. maybe some unlocking and pds repair tools can do that.

It pretty important. Its your ticket back from brickage if it happens.

What phone do you have ? Never put other BL on you phone.

hi... i have V3i itunes, but i can't backup my system, i tried using flashbackup 2.6 and 3.. but when the backing up starts it stops suddenly showing in the phone display CRITICAL ERROR 84... after that the phone restarts and all works normally. Please what can i do for backup my MP and upgrade it with a better MonsterPack?
