View Full Version : Annoying Blue Tooth Question

This may have been asked already, but I didn't see it anywhere. I have an unlocked Slvr running Yuet's1.8 MP. I can connect to any bluetooth headset, but have not been able to sync with other Moto phones. I tried with three different RAZRs no go. I was able to Sync with my Treo 650 and my blackberry. It does not even detect the Razrs nor can they detect it. I do enable the find me option crap for 60 seconds, but no luck yet. Is it my phone or is this common to the SLVR?

you prolly aren't doing it right? you have to hit Find me on other phone

I do all that, it syncs fine to my blackberry and all my headsets just fine. it is certainly strange isn't it? I tried again today after loading MP. Maybe it is just the phone. But I would appreciate additional suggestions.

OK, figured that one out too. This phone operates differently from my treo etc. You just can't connect to another moto unless you are actually sending a file, then it works fine. Just tried it tonite. I was first trying to bond the phones, like you do a headset, instead you need to have the file ready, then select copy to BT then it will find the other phone and send the file. I know the experts here know the answer, but in case another poor lost soul like myself need to know.
