excuse me if this has already been asked but,
i have the songs on the transflash, itunes recognizes them and the itunes db is ok (i guess) and i can scroll through and see what songs i have... but when i go to play a song iget an application error and itunes shuts down

any suggestions would be great thanks

Check the bitrate, it should not be more than 192kbps, and also it should not be VBR

dunno if this is the reaction of itunes when playing a big-bitrate-music.
i always get it jumping the music when it reach a higher bitrate, not an app error msg.

Try reinstalling iTunes, with a newer/diff version of it.
(reinstall i mean: uninstall and install again, not overwrite.)

That's only a suggestion, something he can try. I think it's better than trying nothing...

ok thanks for your help im going to work on that right now... btw are there different bugged itunes? i used the one that the site had a link to in the tuturial?

ok...i uninstalled it 3 or 4 times, i tried 2 different itunes programs and the same thing happens to me... is it something with the song placement on the memory card? because i can play them through Sounds no problem, what im saying is, are they supposed to be in a specific spot at all?

im bummed out now, i got all exciting looking at this site and then... meep nothing

ok, so say i get that error message, Application Error, and it wont start up again where i have to restart the phone... what could possibly be wrong, ill try and troubleshoot it this way.

uninstall all java apps from the phone and start from a "clean slate"

i fixed the problem. i bought the phone off of ebay and the phone is r4513(irrelivant kind of haha), but i never changed the firmware, ever. so i changed it to yuet's and allthough i lost all of my contancts (unimportant, but if someone knows of a quick fix that'd be great, just pm me you dont have to post) my phone works so much better. so, its all better now :grin: :grin: :grin:
