Hello.
We've finally figured out how to sync our Cricket L7c's to our Motorola phone tools, now we have another problem.
We have 1 GB sandisk cards for these phones and when we put music on them only about half actually show up on the phone.
Is this a bitrate issue or??? I don't believe this phone uses Itunes but not sure...
No iTunes as far as I know, Could be a bitrate issue or file name issue. Do the ones that don't show up have long file names or use non alpha/numeric characters. I think the max bitrate is 192.

Also make sure they're not VBR (variable BitRate)

VBR 160-224 MP3 works on my Cricket L7c, so that shouldn't be a problem... unless my phone is just a freak of technology. I didn't edit anything for that.
Anyway, what I did was just connect the phone in USB mode, then made a new folder titled "music" and put all my tracks (no folders) in there. then when i started up the MP3 player I had it scan for changes. after that, it detected everything...
edit: I am using the built-in MP3 player, called "MP3 Player v1.1" copyrighted by Motorola. And mine supports IDv3 tags, album art, play counts, the works... its basically iTunes with a different skin (which is quite ugly, by the way).

What music player does it have? My Sprint V3m uses Groove Mobile's player, I had a similar problem till I updated it. Now it works fine, and supports ID3 tags including album art.

I told someone this before as well, but I was searching to buy some memory cards for my L7c and it gave me a list of cards 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512MB, and 1 GB. Beside the 1 GB it had a *, so I scrolled down to read the note. It said not available for following phones: and it said RAZR, SLVR, KRZR, and a few others.
So I took it as if I bought that 1 GB, it wouldn't work. I still haven't bought one, but if I do, it will probably just be a 512 MB.

Wow it must be 521mb limit, motorola won't even say how much it'll take:

and phonescoop doesn't know:

There's no l7c's in the online motorola store!

I have the slvr l7c from metropcs. I have managed to get the album art to display under "album" and "song details", but it doesn't display when the song plays. I tagged the album art (under 'pictures') as "cover art"; is there another sub-type that I could use to make the album art appear during playback?
BTW... Slvr L7c DOES support up to a 1 gb sd card. In fact, I am currently using a 2 gb card in my phone and it works fine, although the phone only formatted 1 gb of the total disk memory.
