Hahahha, I can upload my modded seems for you. But I'll guide you on how to do it, if ya still want my seem, ask me and I'll post it.

1.smart keys to volume keys seem 005b_0001:offset 17 change it to 1A. Just locate offset 17 (In Hex) and change the actual number that you will find to 1A.

2. Those can't be changed, cause we don't use motoskinner or programs like that since the L6 does not support skins. You get that with the font or "skin" that u installed (Custom names). If ya want your ogriginal names back, flash it with a stock flash.

3. Voice recording is easy. But we have to remap a button to voice recording so we can use it.
To enable voice recording go into P2Ktools, connect ur phone, other feautures, click on get, then office tools, then check the option Voice records, click on set, restart phone. done.

To remap the key:
I remapped my camera key to voice key.
seem 005b_0001: offset 16 change it to 2B. Just locate offset 16 (In Hex) and change the actual number that you will find to 2B.

4. Change it to 15, 3F is camera recorder.

Btw here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/slvr/remappingkeys.php) is the map for the L7 (same as the L6).

Hey dude! Well, using the left button we can also turn up the volume. Just press the left button then the left and right arrow keys tu turn up or down. (The old keys that we used to use) :D

The voice key won't work if you remap the key to the camera. Cause you need to have the key to camera because we don't have any option for the voice key in the L6. If you have my Moto Mixture MP, the hide option is allready in there. ;)

Ok, here's how to remap ur smart key to camera. seem 005b_0001:
offset 16, just write the value 15. As for the rhythmic light , I think you mean clublights right ? The ones that are sound sensitive ? They can't be all always on, you can only use the timer. (always on? It will drain your battery like hell dude :D)
As for the volume up, I haven't done it. But you could test it, here is the seem edit for it. seem 005b_0001: offset 17, write the value 16, 19. I think... As for the hide option, seem 0032-0001 offset 78 bit 4. (Bit manipulation). So this can fully work you need to have the home keys enabled. Happy modding! :D

Hey guys when i followed the L7 thread to change my extended key (right smart key) changing offset 16 didnt work. For my 005b_0001 the right smart key was offset 1E. Try that maybe it will work then.

Ur extended key is offset 16, you should change the value of it to 15. Otherwise, I don't know, that worked for me. ;)

Hey there, :D.
The auto key lock feauture haven't been figured out yet, so far only the R3517 holds it. The GPRS icon only shows when you're using GPRS, use it and close it and you'll see it. ;) What firmware is your sister using ? never heard of that, maybe I could give it a look. ;) I don't think we can add more sms character, because then the SMS would be too big. :D :D

Oops sry dude! The auto key lock is in the R3517!! If ya want to backup your phone, you should have the registered version of FB3! In trial version it won't backup CG2. ;) file man ? give the link pls, I'll fix it. Btw is your sister's phone from cingular or any other carrier ?

hahaha! Ok, let's start! I'm still looking for a way to add the auto keypad lock in the R3511, so many things to do, so little time. Regarding those 2 programs, I don't think they're compatible with the L6, as for some time back I also had problems with file manager. Does the internet work in the normal stock browser ? If yes, then it might be some opera issue (I never dealt with opera). In my MP, I enabled a option that will make the screen to shutdown every time the lights go off, so it saves the battery, it's showing results on mine, battery lasts longer now! :D Timer option in video camera ? I think your mistaking...I think only the camera has the auto timer and it seems to be working fine. ;) As for the splashscreen, it's custom splashscreen modified in the DRM self. If you want to change it, you'll need some DRM creating knowledge (Not that easy) learn more about changing splaschscreen DRM method here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/splashscreen.php). I think the ones bought from Cingular, has the Cingular flash. (Most of the times, they are locked to Cingular.) Best of luck! :D :D

By not compatible with the L6, I mean the program does not support the L6.
As for the blanks spot in ringtones, we could fix them! Do this...Get P2KTools right here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=329), open it, connect your phone, let it say connected at the bottom, click on Fix MelodyDB (on top of the page), click restart to restart your phone, voila you're done! This is the seem edit for battery save enabled, Modify bit 6 of the offset 1D in the SEEM 0032_0001. Since the Map has been modified, I have no idea how do you want it back. You could change it to be the camera key or something like that or seem 005b_0001 offset 17, change its actual value to 5x and it will do nothing. Or you might as well grab the original stock seem 005b_001 in the downloads section to set everything back to stock. ;) Yes you can flash the R3517 to your phone, the L6 works with both the R3511 & R3517. (Use it on your own risk tough :nana:) That would be cool, there are lots of guides regarding DRM & font making! I am sure you wil succeed! You can create a MP by backing everything up using FB3! You wil need to get the full FB3 version tough, or else it won't backup the CG2 (flex). I recommend backing up in SHX format. Happy Modding!! ;) :D

Drm guide for v3 here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/creatingdrmicons.php) (it's the same I think, you wil only need to get the L6 DRM Table, available in the DRM Forum section. Font guide for v3 here, also the same, check it out here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/creatingfonts.php). I have never use it them tough, try on your own risk. Here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/L6/funlights.php) is a guide to the funlights, just follow it, it should work! Original screen splash ? You can extract it from the Original Drm Flash using SHXcodec I think, split the file, select the DRM, edit, parse, look for it, and save it. Just have a read in the DRM guide. ;) Regarding modding the L7, I don't think it's that difficult, if it is, there's lots of help around here. ;) I would recomend him to buy the L7, as for the L7 has more mods, e.g. it supports skins! That rocks.... :rockon: Happy Modding!! :D

i open the SHX codec, but before it opens, it says error load MIDAS.DLL. then after pressing ok, SHX Codec will open, then i will open the stock DRM, but then the error again.. Error reading MIDAS.DLL.. the file of stock DRM is .shx..

you need to register the dll with windows.

at a command prompt type:-
C:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe 'path'\midas.dll

Windows should respond that the dll is registered.
Now shxcodex should work ok

As for the custom mma_ucp, you will have to use P2K Menu editor for that & mma converter.
mma files (mma_ucp/dcp): These files contain the layout of your phone's Menus and Keypad Buttons. You can find them on the phone in the /a/mobile/system/ folder. The mma_ucp file is the current setup, while the mma_dcp file is the Default setup. You can use P2KMenuEditor to modify these files AFTER you have downloaded them from the phone to your computer.
I have no idea how to remove the smart key from the menu, why do you want to do that ? ;)

Yes it is ok if you use the Razr V3 guide. I have no idea on how to do it ;). I think that the black thingys is a conflict between the font & the firmware because that font is made based on the R3511 ;)

i'm not really familiar with the L6, but i don't know if it's capable of having a radio. it depends on the hardware anyway. ask Super Joker about this. he knows a lot about it.

I think the font will do it again with another R3517, you will need a font made with the R3517 language pack. I don't think it's possible, but there are some Java Apps which allows you to hear radio using GPRS. You will be on your own there since most of the Java Apps are considered Warez. ;)

Weird tough, use this flash here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1016). Try it with RSD Lite, FB3 & Mulitflashflex. I think multiflashflex should do the job. FB3 makes errors sometimes. Btw try my MP first, I think an MP could save it.

u need to convert it first using mmaconvert then open it with p2kmenueditor. after you edited your own mma_ucp, save it and convert it again with mmaconvert then upload it into your phone.

note: not all items in the p2kmenueditor can function in your phone. it is firmware dependent and others require seem editing.

I could gladly make it, but since I'm not the author of the pixel font I don't have the Pixel font on my pc. Btw Clarkey the one u send me was not it. The one we are lookin for (Me & Art) only has upper characters. So no lower characters. As well, the one you send me looks different.
