I just tried to do a firmware upgrade and i used Firmware: R44419_G_08.D4.0FR and now my phone wont turn on please help me

That is a chinese firmware, you have to flash Slvr's with the same family of firmware that is originally on your phone. Well for now at least. Try starting it up in boot loader mode {hold down * and # while powering on the phone** and the flashing with a different Monster pack. Use an R4517 one if your phone came with Cingular branding, an R4513 one if it came without it.

I tried using the one to put it back to stock cingular and it got to the hello moto screen and goes off should i try it again or should i use the t-mobile one

TMobile? This is a Slvr, right? There aren't any Tmobile flashes.

Hmm. Welcome to give it a try. The battery is charged, yes? It could just be not charged anough, so it is starting up and then turning itself off. Flashing takes a lot of battery life.

As far as i know its charged i dont have another battery or any way of checking it

I am going to put it on the charger for awhile and see if that works and if it dosent i guess i will come back for more sugestions

Ok so its been pluged into my wall charger for about 45 minutes and it still doesn't get past the hellomoto screen

Hmm. Which flashing program are you using? You might want to try a different one...

A newer version, current one is 3, or FlashBackup 3 also works, but runs $9.95.

i dl 2.5 couldn't find 3 and its still doing the same thing

Do you have the Cingular Branded phone? If not try a MP for R4513. that will confirm if it is the correct one. I personally have a Cingular Phone and when I tried the R4513 it did not work for me AT ALL!! lol. So I tried the R4517 stock MP and it works like brand new.

So I've been told. Luckily it came back up. I'm safe though, I've already called Cingular and had a replacement sent out, I was going to ensure that my phone's hardware had went bad...lol
But since it's still working, I'm going to just return the package as unaccepted.

Take out the battery and put it back in. What happens when you put it back in and power up the phone?
