this is my first post, so i just say hi to everyone!!
my girlfriend is a brand new owner of a motorola k1.
her phone is all branded with movistar (spanish company) and of course locked.
i don't mind if it's locked because i'm not changing my company, but i would like to know if i can leave it unbranded, and, if so, what flash should i use to do it and what are the general steps, and risks.
i noticed there are already some flashes for download (people work fast), but, as a newbie i am, i don't know if i can just flash it or not. of course i would like to keep my spanish language and i don't know if flashing will change languages..
the file i'm talking about is r4527_g_08.22.07r_pds012_lp0039_drm0101_vstg_30c_0 8_jpjava_g_08_r4527_1cr_gstcnryrtde0d2_1ff.rar
(correct me if im wrong. ¿lp0039=UK English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish, Portuguese? so i would keep my language
as you see, i'm quite lost in this stuff (i come from another brands like siemens and samsung, and right now own a qtek, so things are strange for me right now with motorola)
i would appreciate any help/orientation on this.thanks a lot.
PS: don't think i ask without searching and reading, it's just that different language, new phone brand, and risk of being castrated by my girlfriend make this stuff complicated and a little scary
