new to the site and i have a ? on skins

hi all i got a question and maybe i should've did a search, my question is on how to make skins for these phones razr and pebl.
I know for nextel u got a pix and resized it to 176 220 and made sure it was in gif form and then uploaded it to the phone. Is it the same or is their more modding involved. sry if i poested in wrong place

Use a program called skinner4moto. Look in the download section.
