Funny File after skin

Hey all. I am so confused... yep a newbie. I have downloaded all this software.. got 2 skins to work AND in the process when the phone rebooted there was a skin called "275 filenames loaded in 12515 milliseconds" and "Back_moto" When I use P2k I CANNOT SEE THE FILES... I tried BitPim but it will not recognize my phone. I have a motorola V3cm U.S. Cellular - I wasnt trying any hard mod's (lol - but I was thinkiong about it!) and now this... what has this phone come to when you cant find a hidden file on your computer from the phone! HELP!

Welcome to ModMyMoto GregoryC911!! You sound frustrated. Take a deep breath and relax a second. I don't completely understand your problem from what you've said. I have deduced that you :
a) have a V3c or V3m
b) you put 2 skins on your phone
c) something went wrong and you can't view the files on your phone.

If you could explain it more clearly, I'm sure I can help you. Also if you could tell me which guides you followed and the version of p2k commander you used, that would help a lot

Ok... Yes I was frustrated... I have the USCC Motorola Razr V3cm (thats what MotoPhone Tools say I have...) "Motorola CE, Copyright 2000" - V3Cm (GATW_04.09.00R)" I did get 2 skins to install... YEA! But after installing there were the 2 choices in the skins on the phone... some funny names I listed above... but when I try to use P2K it will not show the names on the PC.. just the phone. I tried using P2kCommander-V4.9.5 but that would not work at all.... So I used P2kCommander-V3.3.0 and it worked getting to the phone with PST... so thats my story... HELP please... I dont think those funny names on the phone will hurt anything but it is annoying seeing them in the skin selection on the phone and NOT seeing them in P2K or BitPim (which I could not get to work)...

Help... I am still stuck.. maybe I need to drive up to Sands Springs Oklahoma from Oklahoma City and have you fix it!!!!!!! I would like to figure the whole turn on sound and turn off sound when you turn off and on the phone too but the fix seems so complicated.... Have you guys ever thought about setting up a paypal account and actually loggin into someones computer and charging for a mod????

eh, I'd do it for free, or have you make a donation to this site for it. It'd be more fun if you came over and we had a little modding party though! Beer, phones, and ...phones! Also this post should send you on your way for the startup/shutdown sounds:
