Backing Up My V3t

Is there a way to do a full backup of my V3t? None of the backup apps I've used works. Sorry, I'm new to this and I'm not sure how these apps work, but it appears that they upload some code to the phones RAM and then try to boot to this RAM resident loader. When the phone reboots I get a critical error with a number (forgot the number) and the backup process halts at that point then the phone eventually reboots itself.

About the only option you have is to use Flash & Backup 3 to BACKUP THE PHONE ( select V3i in drop down box.)

Thank you, sir. Backing up now. (I see version 3 is shareware now, but well worth the $10.)
