Noob having trouble after loading ringtone

I have the Verizon k1m. I used the p2k commander to transfer a ringtone. Now when the phone boots up all I get is searching for service can anyone help me?

what folder did you transfer it to?

What I think might have happened is that the phone didn't convert the mp3 down to the size that it would need to be for the phone to use it correctly.

The phone won't convert it by itself....you have to get everything the correct size before you put it on the phone, except pictures. That is the weirdest problem, I don't know what to tell you except delete the ringtone....does the ringtone play?
