regarding iPhone skin on V3t

Hello! Has anyone installed the iPhone skin on their Razor V3t? I have the .ski file and all the .dat files but i have been unsuccessful in installing it on my phone....Please advise. I tried it with the skin manager followed the instructions from the guides..and installed the .ski file but when i switched it on my phone, there was nothing... and the .ski file was only 18 kb... all the .dat files, and .gif was not transferred on the phone by just installing the .ski file...so how do i put everything together on my phone for the skin to work properly....please help! Thanks!!

version of the iphone skin, i have the rogers motorola v3t and i loaded it up and installed on the phone, got tired of it, i think the best skin to put on the v3i or v3t is the e6 rokr skin.

Which iPhone skin did you install there are a few out there.....?

Was it the one from the post in this forum HERE (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16835)? I know that particular iPhone skin works on the V3t with no errors/issues. mumra06 and I too have it installed and operational on our V3t's.

If you want to install a skin manually you will need to create a folder in your phone in your skins folder using a P2K program. You will need to name the folder what ever the skin is named ie: iPhone. Then transfer all the files from the skin folder on your puter to the folder on your phone. Restart your phone and you should have the skin installed. This method does work but it is time consuming and the chance for error is there.
Personally I like using Skins Manager 4 for uploading skins to my phone. It works error free and allows you to make some very nice adjustments to the skin as you load it to the phone like removing the operator from the screen. Click on the link below "Skins" and it will take you to a very good thread with all kinds of skins info.
