Very cool. Will go into the Maxx guides section (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/maxx) seem map once I get it up there. :D

So I checked the offset 27 for external images and I restarted the phone. Now what do I do? Does this unlock a menu feature in my phone?

no, you need to replace the cl.gif in the /a/mobile/system directory of the phone the image must be 120x160

Okay. Name it the same thing? "cl.gif", just change the image...?
When I checked the offset 27 in p2kman and wrote it to myphone and restarted it, the phone screen (outside and internal) was white. I had to go back in and uncheck it and the phone was back to normal again. Was this normal?

yeah it probably was all set prior to you editing... just go back to the way it was, find the cl.gif on the phone and overwrite it with your new one. I started a thread in media with a few 120x160 cl.gifs

as to the OP, this is not bit manipulation is it? we just change the offset's value.. correct?
I edited the first post, let me know if i am wrong so i can unedit it and not look stuuuupid.
