I have a V3t with a 2GB transflash. After I load about 1GB of mp3's Dap will not load. It stays on the load up screen, looking for new music. Does anyone know how to get around this?

I think that razr can only support a 1GB card, so it will only recognize 1 Gb of information. I dont think the razr can support a 2 gb, correct me if im wrong

It reads the full memory of the 2GB card, and I can play the songs with sound player. It just won't work with DAP.

.

Everything I've read says the V3T R3443U5 will only address / read 1 GB transflash.

I can get about 1.6 gigs to work, but after about 1.8 gigs (306 songs + some .3gp movies) my DAP won't load either... I dunno why...

Processor deficiency?

Motorola DAP 5.00.19 has a built in limit of 300 songs. Older versions just tend to freeze anywhere between 150 and 300 songs. 5.00.19 should eventually load and tell you of the limit. The message reads as follows: "Maximum 300 Song files limit reached. For additional song files utilize the multimedia audio player." If you're running an older version, the 5.00.19 is in the sticky thread titled "v3t working DAP (j2me) Fix." I just use the sounds player (with the appropriate seem edits) because I have over 400 songs on my phone. Hope this helps.

Yep. DAP is limited, You can put more on if you encode the MP3 to around 64kbps (sound quality is ok). You can put about 600 - 800 songs on then. But there is no way around it otherwise unless you use the sounds player (much better anyway).

The v3t can, will and does use a 2gig card, it is the DAP limit, not the ability to read the card.

and its been proven time and time again that the v3t can and does use the 2gig card quite well. See here ---> http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24899&highlight=2gig&page=3
