12 Icon Menu on V3t?

Can I use a 12 icon skin on the V3t? I installed one, but got 9 icons with a blank bottom row. I also tried checking the 3x4 menu patch in skins manager which allowed access to the blank bottom row, but the phone would fall back to the home screen when I moved to a blank icon spot. I thought I read somewhere that there were issues modding the V3t menu or something, but my recollection is vague.

i havent figured out how to get a 12 icon menu on hte v3t yet, i finally figured out how to change the 9pictures of the normal icons, if anyone can get 12 icons (i could only get 10 with 2 spaces that kicked you back to the start screen) post it please

What skin are you using? It looks pretty cool

I am using a skin called Glamour but it has some issues I can't seem to fix.... The Joystick r, l, and down do not respond when pressed unless I am using the sounds player. Then right and left work to FF and RW the track I am listening to but as soon as I end the sounds player the buttons go back to non operational. I have tried changing the target for each of them with no visible change as well as moving the icons position on the screen as well.

The pic is one I snagged off the net.. if you look close it is a breast with the shadow of a guitar neck cast upon it.

I have uploaded a copy of it with my edits... maybe you can figure out why the joystick buttons don't work correctly.

I'm not really sure what I did... I started from scratch with the same skin but instead of the modified icons I used the stock icons. Go here for the skin... Anilo's Angelo Verona: Glamorous Skin (http://www.motox.info/showthread.php?t=36533&page=2) The location I got my first copy from didn't note the mmu_dcp needed nor was it included. I'm sure that was my problem with it when I tried to use it the first time.

OF course it will add another folder called Glamour in your skins folder.... when you add with skins manager 4 anyway ... :fryingpan:

Are you creating your own folder and then loading all the data manually? Why? :fryingpan: More work than you need to perform....

Don't forget the mmu_dcp if you use the glamour skin! I have not tested this so I do NOT know if it works or not with the V3t. Use it at your own risk!

If space is an issue you can remove all but the main moto skin.
On my V3t it was called ALKALI.
