W490 to W510 - FlashBackup and Upgrade Walkthru

Hello everyone!
I have never modded my phone but want to reduce the chance of creating a brick.

I was hoping someone (or many) could address the following issues:

PROBLEM #1
With Flash & Backup 3.0.7 my phone isnt listed, and I have no idea where to get the profile for it. I have tried all the others and it seems it works on a few but as soon as it said JUMP the system errors out, both on the PC and the phone. I remove the battery, and put it back in and it works. Can someone give me instructions or a link to my phone's profile?

PROBLEM #2
W510 Software - I have been told the W510 software is compatable, and recommended. (as I want Delayed answer and now Talking Phone) but I dont know where to get this firmware and I am not sure what i can use to flash it? Can someone give me a walk through, and links to the software?

PROBLEM #3
This may be solved by #2 but I need to know of a software to push these updates, can someone link me to one that works for the 490 without too much work?

Download the 0032_0001 seem from this thread: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74081
You can use P2KTools VS to install it. (You should back up your own 0032_0001 seem first, which you can also do with P2KTools VS. Open seem 0032_0001 from the phone and "save as file." To install the new seem, "open from file" and then "save to phone.")
That seem gives you Delayed Answer AND Talking Phone, and some other stuff. It disables the MyFaves/My5 interface, though.

Thanks for the detailed answer - I DL'd P2K Tools VS and it seems to come up but when I press Refresh it gets to 100% and just hangs. If I kill it and restart and try the DOWNLOAD button it never works, either does the Upload botton. Any thoughts?

Nevermind, It wont REFRESH but the SEEM editor worked great!!!

If you're trying to use the file manager part, I'm pretty sure that doesn't work at all with the W490. Others have reported that too. The seem editor part is great, though--I used to have to download seems with P2KMan, edit with XVI32, then upload with P2KMan, and P2KTools VS makes it much easier.

I keep seeing all these posts about updating and it killing the fav 5's.. is there still a way to change around the 5's you have? and what is this talking phone and delayed talk stuff ppl are talking about. i am really new to the w490 but used to mod the hell out of some old sprint phones and stuff. I am totally new to t-mobile. anyways cheers for helpin a newbie non r-tard out.

yeah you can go to the tmobile website and change them
