hey guys how come whenever i change the startup and shutdown feature on my V3, i cant change my ring settings i click on to change but instead of going into the change screen it goes back to the menu icons if anyone can help my poor soul that would be good, any advice no matter how simple would be greatly appreciated this modding stuff is addictive

it's because you added to the phones audio database and it needs to rebuild a new one. use p2ktools. click the "all silent" or "repair melody db" depending on which version you have. then just for good measure, delete the 2 files in your audio folder called "MyToneDB.db" and TempToneDB.db". then restart your phone. it will rebuild these 2 files (the database files) on reboot based on what you currently have on your phone.

im useing version VS3.0.8.864 if that helps, is this the right one to do what you said

that's the one. it should have an "all silent" button at the top on the right. if you can't see it. make the window bigger. it will be there. you might get a little dialogue box that pops up over and over. if so just shut it down, then reopen it and delete those 2 .db files. restart and you should be good to go. :thumbsup:
