ATT compatible S/W update?

I have been seeing updates for the verison and t-mobile v3re s/w but was wondering if there was a newer S/W for my ATT v3re. I am currently using S/W version R3442A_G_0E.43.08R. My next question is what will an update do for me that i cant do now and is it advisable.:confused:

Recently the updates only make motos harder to mod, but not better. I would let others try them out first, just incase the new firmware is a sticky and doesn't let you go back to where you are now. :thumbsup:

ok well i wasnt sure if the updates let u do more but i guess its like the psp, little actual change and harded for the modding community, thanks for the help.
