Why is it so difficult to get a driver for S Flash Neptune LTE2?
I have downloaded many packages which purport to contain this driver but none of them do.

v3 is LTE, V3r and V3re are LTE2. What is your software version? R3443u2, R4515 or R3442A?

That's a V3re phone. Please post in the appropriate section (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=82) :).

Many thanks to all who replied. I am a newbie at this game.
From what is said elsewhere I gather that not much is known about the
V3re and, as yet, there are no flash or flex files available.
Have I completely ruined my phone? I now get DEA1.

Well, I can't help you more than that regarding the V3re as that's how much I know about modding on it. Try asking the V3re forum. Who knows, might find a solution ;).

There are a few flashes for the r3442A in our Downloadsection under v3re, but the error DEA1 or DE AD is not a good sign, meand usually that the flashchip is gone. Its part of the Motherboard.

Well, first of all, you have a v3r, and this is the v3re section.

But anyway, here's what I'd do: Try flashing an MP with D3R firmware. HERE (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=53) is a link to the downloads section. There are many good MPs with the D3R firmware. Flash the MP with Flash and Backup 3.0.7, found HERE. (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=7557)

If that doesn't work, google for P2kEasyTools 3.9, and do a PDS repair with it. Then flash the MP you downloaded.

If that doesn't work, let us know.

Thanks, Danation. can you tell me if I have to do a TP?

You shouldn't need to, no. We'll see after you try a few things.

I am a little concerned that it shows no IMEI, but we have a few things to try before we get truly worried.

Here is what I would do:

Follow the Get Connected guide (found HERE (http://modmymoto.com/wiki/index.php/Razr_v3_get_connected).) It links you to the drivers you need. They normally work fine, but if not, you'll need to go to the motodev website and download the latest ones.

Download Flash and Backup 3.0.7 (found HERE (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=7557).)

Download an MP with the right firmware for your phone. I mostly play with my V3re's, but my V3r has Clarkey's Absolute Zero MP on it. It will work with your phone. HERE (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=6812) is a link to it. It's in .rar format, so you'll need winrar or similar to decompress it.

Open Flash and Backup 3 (FB3) and connect your phone. It should detect it as a V3r. Select the V3r profile. Click the write tab. Click "Select Flash File" and find the MP. Click "Write Data" and wait until it's done. Your phone will restart and it should work fine.

Try that and post what happens. I'm hoping that works. If not, we'll look at other ideas, such as PDS repair, TPing, etc.

As always, mod at your own risk. But so far, we're doing pretty standard and safe stuff.
