Question about Sprint V3m

I have friend of mine who wants to buy V3m from sprint but that phone have some kind of disabling to sending/receiving ringtones via bluetooh (sometimes this problem is even with receiving/sending pictures via blutooth). After he test the phone (in the store) he had some error (like unknown file type) and sprint representative told him that sprint phones support only sending or receiving of contact (phone numbers, phonebook's entry) via bluetooth (not media files). So my question is, is there any way to change that? Is there any way (seem editing or any other) to got sprint v3m to send/receive ringtones and pictures via bluetooth with no errors?

I have no problems sending from my PC to my phone, or receiving from another phone to my phone. I also have a Sprint V3m. The unknown file type couldve been from a different Sprint phone using a format other than .mp3 or .mid, like maybe a .mmf or .qcp. The salesman you spoke with was a buffoon, he should work for Samsung.

I was wrong, i got it confused with a different Red phone I had back then, sorry for the confusion. I can just BT from my PC. Sorry again, dont beat me up :)
