I don't know what the changes are. I post those mainly for recovering from messed up seem edits and such or switching carriers

I have found a bug in the telus firmware that disable name lookup
function on the outer LCD. Only Alkali skin work only! If you choose
Disco or Glow no name will appear on the outer LCD ( when you choose to attach an image to the contact ID list)

Also, i can,t seem to get MPT to work over bluetooth it says cant find com port! But it works okay when working inside the widcomm program.

If I did it right then here's the 2742 seem for virgin mobile. I'd be interested to know which bit enables skin switching since it was disabled by virgin but is enabled in telus razrs

That shouldn't be terribly hard to find, but I don't have a V3c anymore :(

anyone have and sucess with this... this really sucks not being able to change the skin.
im scared to flash the phone too might mess it up.
im on virgin mobile in canada aswell. let me know how this pans out
