Problem Installing on Mac

When following the instructions for installing lubusb i get this in terminal after the ./configure command.....

configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.


any idea whats wrong?

did you download and install xcode?

i did but now i just looked and cant find it...guess i have to d/l again
