I have Mark 3 installed and got today the call from Tmobile with the code to unlock my phone. Problem I am suppose to press the menu button then press 6 numbers followed by * but in mark 3 the menu button sends me to the shortcuts, anyhow I am trying to get to the point where I am asked to select unlock SIM, and then enter the code. I am stomped so far, so help would be welcome
Cheers

No will try, and let you know if it works
edited nah! no go.
I have somehow to get to the section where I am being asked to select unlock sim it has to be one of the secure menu as I am being asked before to enter the security code. Anyhow I am bothering you as I hate to call Tmobile back, plus with the MP installed the discussion with the Tmob bimbette should be fun.

Well it was interesting. the call to Tmobile came out that the directions they gave me are wrong and they do not know the sequence to unlock the phone, even though I have my code now I am still locked. The funny thing is that they recommended I went to a Tmobile store to have the darn unlocked by them hoping that they know better than the customer service.
to be continued....

could you try someone elses sim card, so the phone has to ask for the code in order to work?

I thought of it, and I shall try with my Orange card.
BTW interesting I was told by consumer support to go to a Tmob store, so I called my neighbourhood one and they have no idea how to do it, and sent me back to consumer support. Well now I have Moto phone number and will go directly to the source, more to follow...
