Why can't I have access to /usr/setup config files? I copy the file ezx_connection.cfg to memory card, modify it, and try to copy it back but the system always give an operation not permitted error. :crazy1:

i on trouble too, althoght i succes on TELNET then SAMBA, cant do anything or only brows file on the fone. overhere tell you must try linux and mod some CG,

but some time i can edit ezx file and replace it, like the name of bluetooth, some time cant

yeah only ezx_user is free to mod i think so, others might be edited trough linux

Some E2 folders are directly linked with rom, change them I think it is possible only flashing the phone. Take a look at this link:

i'll try to use linux OS on my PC, with linux many thing can do for e2
like patitioning sdcard dellet ori ringtones etc, etc, but i'm not familiar with linux, just windows OS, do you can recomen what linux type that better for new user being starting

try downloading by bit torrent just search for the knoppix iso

the /usr/ directory is located in CG43 or was it 42? I don't remember off the top of my head. Regardless, it is CramFS so it is Read-Only. However to edit CFG files, just go to /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup/
