I have had this phone for for days now and I can only use it as a phone, no pictures in or out, text can come in but not go out, and no internet.

I have t mobile in the us and I tried installing the US tmo websession in the /a/ and /a/mobile and it still doesn't work. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks you in advance
John

the websession doesn't have all the pieces needed, like the proxy and what not and I don't know what to fill those in with.

Do you have a data plan on your phone? From T-Mobile I mean? T-Zones?

And for the SMS, have you made sure you have the correct service center number? For T-Mo US it should be +12063130004 (its in your Text Message Setup).

Yes I do have a data package, I can use everything.

The service center number is what you said it should be and the email gateway is blank and the use GPRS is set to yes.

The MMS message set up the server info is set to 3-db-mms other option is CSL MMS

ok i think I fixed the text it can't use the GPRS bc I havn't setup the websession correctly yet.

Right I was going to say, you shouldn't have the text go over GPRS.

For your data and MMS stuff, try this (http://tmobileus.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst). Use the Slvr one if there is no L7i.

Yea there is no L7 at all, the closest is a L6

I take it back, Ill try this and ill let you know, thank you again

Ok I used the tmobile configure, and the tzones updated fine, but the picture/video messaging update didn't go through it just says update failed.

The internet works fine now but no MMS. Any more suggestions? I really appricateate you helping me get atleast the txt and net working. thank you.

Hmm. Try the MMS option for the V3i, see if that will take.
