Help with google mobile maps

recieved replacement phone with new updated software (0AR) from att now i cannot load google mobile maps. i recieve message "sorry, google maps does not work on your motorola v3". the maps application worked with my last v3re phone with older software. whats up with that?

Can you downgrade back to your former firmware? If not, maybe you need to enable some java manager first to accept google maps.

could not go back to r3442a_G_oe.43.08r att. how do you enable java manager to accept google maps?
