v3 user lock

I bought a used V3 on Ebay and after receiving it has a user password lock. The sellre will not respond to emails. It was sold as is. I need to find a way to either delete it somehow or flash a MP to just redo the whole darn thing. Phone infor below:

default lock codes are 1234 and 000000. if those don't work, the codes are stored in seems

0074 - Stores Phone Lock Code
0076 - Stores Phone Security Code

Your phone is a v3re, very new. Have a look in the v3r section, there is a sub section for the v3re. I will leave this thread here until you respond, lol. Do not flash anything until you read some threads in the v3re section, meanwhile I find you a thread for the unlock codes.

here's a trick i learned on the old youtube site.

its worked for many motorola razrs...

turn the phone on and when it asks you for the password remove the back battery cover and then slightly remove the battery a little bit maybe just lift it up so the contacts dont touch and put it back in the phone, its like slightly lifting it. for like less than 2 sec.


then
the phone will restart and remove the security code, that will allow you to go to options and remove it or change it or whatever
