View Full Version : Contacts transfer error

Using P2Ktools I've saved all my contacts to a CSV file. All the contacts name and numbers look fine in P2Ktools, but when I 'Restore' it to the new phone, all the numbers are like 20 digits long and have lots of zeros(00001204035350053...) in it and none of the original number. When I open the CSV on my computer, the numbers in the file look odd and non linear to my human brain. The old phone is a V3r and the new is a V3re, if that matters.
(I can't just transfer the numbers to the SIM because the screen is dead, water damage.)

It may have something to do with the two different phones.

No one knows for sure?

I am not completely sure. If you still have your old V3r, try putting it back into that one and see if it has any problems.

Okay, I tried loading or restoring the csv file to the old phone, the V3r and I had the same problem. Plus, it copied over all the old numbers so now the originals are gone so I can't try to make another copy. Poop.
Help.

I guess your back up was corrupted. Sorry mate.

Yep, I guess so. Damn it. Oh well. I can still copy them by hand. Thanks anyway! :)

Well, that that is the good and bad side of making back ups I guess, lol. I always make extra back ups every few weeks just to be on the safe side. Happy modding!
