E6 Itunes

Hey guys,

I'm new to the motorola and mod world, and I need some Itunes help. Just downloaded a black Itunes file and cannot seem to get it to work. I'm not sure what to do from the "putting it on my phone" stage.

Any one have some advice?

If it's the iTunes jar file, it won't work on the ROKR E6, or E2

No it Wont... :S they both dont run corelets

yea, found that it was a .JAR file. Any one know of any Itunes that could work with the E6?

I just downloading a .JAD file and tried to install it, but that didn't work either.

the itunes jad and jar must be run as corelets. the phones do not support corelets

what kind of files can the e6 support? I want to put some kind of I-tunes on the phone, and i will want to add different mod's to the phone, are there any mods that can mod the phone to accpet corelets?

nope... why you want itunes... moto´s player is so cool :S better than itunes :S

I'm not a big fan of real player, never liked it. I also don't like they display of the player it self. another question: What kind of mod files can the e6 support since it can't support the .Jar and .Jad files?

it can... but not itunes... if any java master would like to mod the jar itself would be cool.. and it also suports mpkg and lin files... e2 does why e6 wouldnt :S

here you´ve got some files you need to extract to your sd in order to telnet... i think u need to install them extracting to your sd... restarting ... find the app and runing it and then follow the e2 telnet guide :D

adrian, I can't pm you anymore, your inbox is full =[. So yea i have the firmware that comes with the phone, not sure what it is, I had found a great file of the inet smdb and lost it, and not i can't find it. I got the phone 3 weeks ago and so im not to expirienced with it.

there should be a way to check de fw version... have u tried bootloader :S like on e2

well i managed to get the inetd program on my phone, but it comes up under games and when i press on it, it just says "unable to open application file" what should i do?

inetd from the e2 or the e6? :S... again you need to find the USB settings under your menu :S

made for e2 couldn't find one for e6 so i got this one. I found the app for inetd on my app menu, but no settings under the usb tab, I only saw mass storage, modem mode, and webcamera mode. Iam pretty sure that i need to install the app before i get the inetd settings in the area. is that the reason? what else do in need to do?

nope im iranian. So can you think of anything i can do to get this up and running? if i pretend that i have nothing done and im back at square one, what should i start out doing. what file should i use.

I'd rather not risk tinkering with the E6 at this time. Am still trying to max out its cool features. My 2Gb SD card has about 3 hours of mp3 stereo files that I can listen to on the Real Player. Also a few MTV mpeg4 files for video playback. The sound on a 3rd party in-canal earphone is just awesome. Also on a nokia BH 501 headset and a Jabra BT 620. But not for video where I use wired headset.
