Dear all,

I am newbiw in moto+linux world. I like to upgrade my L7i and come to know that P2K is required in my phone to do this. what is P2K actually ?

actually p2ktool are softwares for modding your phone, but basically its a program that contains drivers so that your pc can detect your phone.. it is needed for installing skins and java games..

Actually P2k is "paragon2000"
P2k05 is "paragon2005"
I this this is Morotola filesystem's name.
P2k applications got its names from the motorola driver "p2k.sys"
This driver make the connection to the phone.
Applications uses this mode called p2k applications.

Jaav games aren't installing via P2k tools. It'd better use MotoMIDman.

i got a g-metal v3xx and cant do anything can someone show me the right path plz!!!!! (i'm a noob i think thats y though) got p2k 3.0 sum'n and nothing works with my phone aaarrrrrggggg!!!!!!!!:furious:

Hey mate. Don't ask everywhere on the forum. Post in the suitable section and that's it. Jeez, the V6 section has been set up for a purpose. It definitely wasn't meant for you to ask in almost every possible section of M3.
