Mototunes says it loading songs but when I go to play, nada

Just like the title says, I have followed the guides with the exception of the seem edit as I am not using a shortcut I have a dedicated button (right soft key) for itunes. Mototunes does everything but I don't see any music on my phone. Whats the deal?

Hmm. Do you see the songs in your SD card? Or are you storing them to your phone?

Using P2KTools I looked in every file and there is no music,other than what I had initially installed with itunes (100 songs) not on the phone and not on the card. Since that time I installed Vassio and uninstalled original itunes and have tried to add songs to the orginal 100. No dice, even though Mototunes is saying yes, I don't see anything on the actual phone or mem card. Any ideas?

In MotoTunes, have you followed the "Getting MotoTunes to Work" guide in our guides section? You may just have setting wrong, I'm betting thats all it is...

Just add them directly to the memory card. Connect in memory card mode and transfer your songs to the right folder. then use motoTunes to create the iTunes DB.

I followed the guide, to the the t. Even though I wanted better quality songs I said to myself, lets get it working then worry about better quality songs.

Did you hit update phone on the top toolbar and wait for Mototunes to say safe to disconnect? I had the same problem at first than finally got it right after a lot of trying. I also found a iTunes file that will create the iTunes DB right in the phone, its a menu item in iTunes itself, just drag, drop, and create it with the phone. Very simple.
