Motorola V3re Bricked...

Please bare with me, I am a new poster. I have a cingular Razr v3re that I made a seem edit with and basically broke. It does not boot past the 'helo moto' screen. it goes black and a motorola emblem can be seen on my outer screen. It is not responsive. Luckily, I can get to my Flash Loader by pressing #* and power. I have found a 'Flash&Backup" program but I can not find the appropriate file to flash my phone with, I keep getting a DEA1 Error.

Can someone please help me?

You are not violating our rules, but you missed the right forum by a wimp. Its the v3re section, right on top of the v3r section. But never mind that now. Your problem is bigger then that. I have personally not seen a phone coming back from error DE AD, its a cruel joke from some motorola programmer to call it that when the flashchip is gone or burned. Most cases had to replace the Mobo alltogether. In your case I would just hand it back to the shop where it came from, and claim warranty. That might not seem fair in the first view, but after all, it might not have been your modding, but a faulty flashchip to start with. Sorry to disappoint.

Actually, like a fool, I didn't look at the downloads page. I found v3re .shx files that got my phone back up and running. They look nothing like when I first got my phone though, I'd really like to find official files..

Edit: But at least I was able to get my phone back on!

Wow, that is great news. I like that, but then again, I like happy endings, lol.

Yeah, just incase it helps anyone, I received the DEA1 error because while the back of my phone simply says V3, the phone is a V3re as I previously had thought. I tried to flash with V3 firmware and as a result received DEA1. Are there any good resources for shx files that I should check out?

Thanks for sharing, and no, the only modded MP so far is the one from jklong03, I never found any other in the net so far. His is nice though. There are a lot of modding possibilitys though, and maybe you will release the second known of MP soon, :thumbsup:
