Help With wap setings

Hi, I just bought the motoslver L71 and Igot most everything on the phone to work. works fine with cingular, but i having difculties getting the browser to work, i set all the settings right in the websessions that cingular had posted and it jsut get a stupid conection unseccessful, try again later page. Can some one please help me. I know I have heard that this phone does work on cingular data network, so i fig i must be doing something wrong.

it's best you contact your service provider for the wap settings.

Yea thanks, i did go to them and they told me i had to call tech support and that they would upload software to my phone so i can use cingulars MEdia Net.

you don't need 'medianet' to access the internet with your phone.
cingular has the wap settings listed on their site under support, in the faq somewhere.

I am also having trouble with WAP and mms. I unwittingly bought my phone from a parallel importer. I am living in Australia and have a phone that was initially destined for the Hong Kong market. Works fine other than the fact that I cannot for the life of me enable wap. Same message. 'connection unsuccesful please try again later' i must note that a number of providers have been preprogrammed into web settings though there is one free space.

yea, i went to cingular and asked them and they told me to call tech support so i did and i did wut they said and it wont work so i dunno, i heard it suppose too, so i hope my phone isnt messed up, i wonder though to if it is a software prob? cuz i like this version of the slvr the best and i want it to get everything going on it.

wel anyways i have gotten my internet working on my phone finally. Do note for atlest cingular users dun use the recomended settings for wap does not work for the L71.
