How to flash L71?

Can I use RSD Lite 3.4 to flash? I ask because in the downloads section there is a download that says "L7i - FTD2XX : Program to remove Subsidy Lock. This needs to be done to make the phone flashable." Or can I flash straight out the box? Or do I have to use "L7i - MotoDownloadPlus" also found in the downloads section? Lastly, whats the newest Flash? thanks

that file is for L7imode. imode is different than a normal L7i. check your S/W Version. if it is R452D then you are in the bright side. your phone is completely moddable. if not R452D then it is imode.
