how to increase the memory of my l71

hey!!! just bought a new l71..and im a newbie here really need your help..please!!! i need to know how can i expand the internal memory of l71 i want to do more..also its memeory card. and what does it mean when you FLASH your phone..sorry im new as i have mention..thanks!! i really need answer for this..thanks so much!!!:confused:

The internal memory for your phone is about 20MB, you can't change that.
you can put a Sandisk microSD transflash memory card in the memory slot, up to 2GB.
"Flashing" your phone means using a program like Flash + Backup or RSD lite to upload system files to your phone.
go to the guides section, and you can read all about it.

thank you so much!! for that..but my l71 i have confirmed that it does not have a 20mb mem it only has an 11mb mem.. i have heard that slvr l7 has an 5mb mem but when you carck the software internal mem can expand..

yours is not AN l7i.......
i dont think you can increase the phone memory.......

please help me with this..how do i get started, where can i get a guide to flash my l71..can i use the guide for Rizr_z3..?? please help..dont know what to do..do i really need to backup files.. what happen if i dont???

im using a simcard for my l71 so..its not really necessary if i lose my phonebook entries or is it gonna be affected?? and id like to ask.. if i mod my phone is it ok if its turned off???

you can also delete some unneeded files. in my phone for example, it came with a java app that was some sort of a dictionary or something like that and it was really big. Decided to first back it up (with motomidman, in case i wanted it back) and then deleted it. Think it was around 2mb.

yup, that's basically the same. when flashing though, id recommend RSD lite.

No No RSD lite is a different flashing software and Flash & Backup is a different flashing software.......!!!!!!:tapdance:
If you want RSD Lite, then GOOGLE it........
The Latest version of RSD lite is 3.2 i suppose........:ladysman:

RSD is classified as "warez", that is, it wont be legal for this site to host it. try Google and you should find it under 10secs. tip: try the .ru domains. hehehe:smoker:
