So i know that unlocking a V3re is not easy at all. ( or maybe its just me looking in the wrong place I havent decided yet) I know I have to test point it.
I finally got the phone apart, I think I have all the programs I need (or at least the ones that I have read about) But still really cant find a good diagram or instructions.
Can someone help me, I know this is possible.
also do I need to have the smart clip box, cause if so thats one thing that I dont have.

depending on your provider, you can call them with the BS that youre going out of country but you want to use their service overseas, and all you need is their sim card from that country and youll get it when you get there, and you dont want to buy a phone that youll "never" use again, you just needed the info on how to unlock your current phone so you can bring it there and back again, i did it with tmobile when i was a customer of only 2 weeks, and smooth talked a customer service chick from tech support, they require 3 months but what can i say, im good lmao, hope that helps

Some people hit lucky with IMEI unlock services online. Ok, they charge, and make sure you choose some reputable site with some traffic before you hand out your IMEI number to anybody online. If I hear of a different unlock sollution which is fairly safe, you will be the next to know about it, lol. But so far I only know about smartclip with smartmoto software and the Ultima box people say they added it to their dongle. Sorry.

An unlocked pack doesnt actually unlock the phone it just makes sure that it doesnt relock it when changing packs..Trust me I purchased a tmobile v3re and i am a at&t customer almost 6 months ago and am still looking for a way to unlock with out spending a grand on all that damn unlocking boxes and things...TMobile will not give me an unlock code and i am not in the position to purchase there service so they are useless to me

So then there is really no way to unlock v3re without having the boxes. Ive looked at diagrams after diagrams that say will work for v3re with no succuss (unless its just me but im following the directions to a T) I just cant seem to find the test point fi there is even really one at all. Can a cell phone shop unlock it or will they not even mess with it?? :furious:

i looked at all these various methods but at the end of the day it was easiest just to take it to a stall on the market who unlocked it for a tenner. I'm guessing they took the "talk crap to provider" route cos I had an IMEI unlock code which worked when i picked it up the following day.........
