Unlocking Ringtones on KRZR K1m

Am I SOL here or is there a way? No problem D/Ling ringtones but cannot delete them or any stock tones. Also have a handset manager (non-motorola) that works great except can't D/L mp3's from computer to phone. Get a pop-up(XP) that says NO!!

possibly? i know you can delete ringtones and stock images with it

Bitpim also works well for this and you may find it more stable with the K1M than P2K commander as the P2K products aren't actually designed for CDMA phones.

use P2K commander (remember you need MSU or PST eunning in the background) to delete/unlock them. all you have to do is change the attribute from 0004 to 0000. power cycle the phone, and then you should be able to delete them with any program you want...(i recommend bitpim when deleting sstuff of the CDMA phones)

they just updated support for CDMA phonew in 4.9.8 I believe or 4.9.2....

to this day i can not get my k1m to work with bitpin, i followed teh directions to a "T", i plug the phone in to teh usb it reads eh phone as "motorola modem" in properties but not as a com port,
teh phone is with Telus...
