It depends on the card, I have found stock Motorola cards work best, most others give "unformated card" errors, this usually happens after Modding (taking out the card prior to Modding stops the error so far), I NEVER have a problem with Motorola Cards at all, I get them on Ebay brand new.. I currently use a 2gig, its a little slow on loading my Movies (I have several Full length movies on my card - Spiderman 1 and 2 for example) but after the load up they play fine.
As far as "trusting" internet business'.. I have never been let down. I only pruchase from those business' that have telephone numbers that I can call to confirm what I am buying (even if its an eBay bid I call first). So far so good.. do research on the business you want to work with... Right now my favorite is BargainCell.com, they are fast shippers, safe and I have never had a problem they did not fix. My most recent was a purchase of an extended battery and door for the v3t.. the door did not fit because it was designed for the v3. They honestly thought it would so I bought it and it did not fit.. I called them; they refunded my money and let me keep the extended battery for my trouble.. should a door be made that wil fit the v3t they said they would contact me. I have bought over 100.00$ worth of stuff from them since.. they showed to be honest and trustworthy

Hey Archer...
Don't know if you already bought your micro sd card or not but here is what i'll tell you. I went with a SanDisk card b/c I really think they are a good product. I've got two san disk cards for my palm TX and the are excellent. Even though they are a little more when compared to others I still say it is worth it. I picked up a brand new 2gig (with the normal SD adapter) from Newegg for about $45. As soon as I got it I chucked it in my Z3 and it worked like a charm. I have had absolutely no problems with it.
Internet business....don't be afraid of it....just make sure you can tell that their buying procedures are legit and they are a reputable company.
--I was actually going to buy a card from Radio Shack as well until I found out that the 1 gig san disk was about $70. so you can most likely find a much better price online if you can wait for the shipping :)

Perfect. You've made me reconsider my choice, so i'll save up for a SanDisk instead.
Thanks guys! :)

Ah you won't be disappointed......:)
and even though I have a 2 gig I would have most likely only need a 1 gig....honestly how many times are you going to watch a movie on your phone. I just got the 2 gig cause I could.....
Anyways.....Keep It Real

Hahahaa you're right. Anyway, the V3i is limited to 1 Gb

No... silly. it won't affect your phone, it's just that your phone may not like the generic SD card.
See, Motorola guarantees operation of their phones with SanDisk SD cards - nothing else (according to Moto)! I purchased Transcend cards - and I've never (ever) have a problem with those ... using a 2GB transcend with my Moto Z6 right now with no issues at all. I use the 1GB MicroSD that came with the Z6 in my Canon SD1000 camera! ;)
how about kingston, is this a good brand?
