if you go to www.hellomoto.com and select UNITED KINGDOM [its not offered in the US in case your wondering, you need to be in their region]: Click on SUPPORT: OPERATOR SETTINGS: GET SETTINGS: RIZR Z8: WAP: select UNITED STATES from menu[Important]: and enter the validation code and your number, MOTOROLA will send the settings to the phone [the settings are for a prepaid US cell company called ZTAR offered at 7-11, dont ask me im just the messenger- bottom line is they worked!]. MMS can be connected by selecting ZTAR as your internet account from the MMS messages setup in CONTROL PANEL. You can rename Ztar to Media Net or Whatever
short version: these are the settings sent to my phone and should run internet/mms on AT&T network with Rizr Z8 and can be found elsewhere.
DATA ACCOUNT
Account Name: "At&t" [Or select a name of your liking]
Address: wap.cingular
Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
[use proxy server]
Proxy Server Address: 66.209.11.32
Proxy Server Port: 80 [ive seen 8080 and 9201 also, but 80 was sent to the phone]
[leave TCPIP on Auto]
Select "At&t" as Preferred Account
MMS account
Preset Account: Othern
Service Center Address: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Internet Account: "At&t"
