[Rizr Z8] Access to private folders

1st of all sorry for my English.

so I found a possibility to install unsigned sis soft to symbian mobiles and in the same time i can't do this.. 'cause i have no access to c:/sys folder. on my Z8, i found the way to get access by patching, with python soft and AppTRK.sis... :doh: one more time AppTRK.sis is made for nokia mobiles ... my Z8 restart after that i start this application...

so i'm looking for a soft or... some thing to get full directories access.

UIQ3-smartphones SIS installer
The mod is intended to
- installation unsigned SIS packages with any capability
- installation SIS packages with protected\unprotected UID
on UIQ3 smartphones.

Installation
- Unlock access to system folders (see http://101swmail010.googlepages.com/uiq3mods)
- Download the archive from http://www.agathosyne.de/files_ext/sis-installer_mod.zip
- Copy the file installserver.exe from the archive to 'c:\sys\bin\' on your phone
- Enjoy and ...

as far as i know most of UIQ phones and related content are made touchscreen based.so those of programs games etc. will probably not work on Z8 and Z10.these two phones are the first which use UIQ non touchscreen.ı hope this would help you.

hmmmmm... i have installed DivX Player & ICQ soft .. no problems works perfect .. Divx player lagggzzzz some time if the video is bigger that your screen

sooo its possible to use some app. from Nokia or SE...

I got some problem with the "new" capswitch: when i try to install on my Z8 the phone refuse saying the application has not passed some security checks.

Any workaround?

(I've flashed it with firwmare revison 2388C8).

those methods doesn`t work with z8 , i tested all with no luck, the method i posted in the other thread with flashing a patch i didn`t do it yet, so that one i dont know if it`s working or not,i hoped for a better translation but it seems no one is russian here :D
the only way i know so far to install unsigned applications is by obtaning a certificate from opda and sign yourself the applications.

With patch we just look c:/sys/bin.. can't copy or move in there directory..

And where do we get a valid certificate and then how we can sign the apps?

U can sign them with open signed at symbiansigned.com but it depends on the apps allocation to email accounts. If it is allocated to a specific account that isn't urs u can't sign it and if it isn't then u can sign it.

Im having no luck with this either, Apptrk.sis won't install and i can't sign it so no go for me! :(

on RU-internet .. ther is no info ... & french nither....

so i hope we "ll find something one day
