Help!! Z8 & buzzing noise

hi,
i´ve got some minor issues with my new z8 and i hope you guys can help me.
when the keypad is lit it emits and unplaisant noise, like a buzzing transformer. i also noticed a distortion of the sound when i type on the keypad while having the headset pluged in. however the buzzing disappears once the keypad backlight is switched off.
other users have reported the same issue. i presume it might be a software bug, but according to the motorola support site my z8´s firmware is up to date. i just wondered wether this is a common thing on smartphones; or i picked a lemon. because if not i´d consider returning the device since the sound is very annoying and can even be heard on the other phones while calling. other than that i love my new z8, but i´m really concerned about this.
i would appreciate it if anyone could share his infromation in this matter

the noise of the keypad it's present on my z8 and also on v3i....but i don't think this is a big problem...

i noticed it too, but only if you really listen. it doesnt impair hearing and turns off, like you said, when the keypad backlight goes off. it sound like a small fan but there cant be a fan in there. i dont mind it so much

My Z8 and V3x make a buzzing noise which can be heard only if I concentrate.
It must be its CPU clock because only when the phone is locked and the CPU is idle the sound cannot be heard.

yeah, i thought about the processor, however the sound gets louder when you touch the kaypad. try it with the headset plugged in the ear, it´s really strange :smoker:
