Hey,
Posted this a while back but I didn't get any responses...
When I get a voice mail I receive _@ as a text message, and after I check and delete the text message I receive a Δ@.
This really bothers me, with that I also do not get a "New Voice Mail" notification.

Thanks,
Jon

It's a simple seem mod .... covered extensively

Adjust seem 0032, offset 02, bit 1

no its not, not to be rude... I said that it is non existent because when I click on it it comes up with this page

The requested URL /guides/v3x/seemediting.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can I just use the Seem editing guide in the V3 section, because that one is there... but the specific one for the v3x is not there... I'm really not acting like an idiot, I honestly just can't go to that specific guide for the v3x.

sry my mistake, there is not guide @ /guides/v3x/seemediting.php

I need to put one in there thanx for pointing that out :)

The guide I will be putting at that location is going to be basicaly the same as this guide:

http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/slvr/seemediting.php

The steps are the same except you might have to download the seem with something other than P2ktools (not sure if the V3x will connect to it)

so basically download 0032_0001. open it with XVI32 and edit it as shown in that guide, and then upload your modified 0032_0001 seem to your phone.

OR you can use this program:

http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1743

I have not had a chance to check it out yet but I am told it is extermemly easy to use. You just connect to it, load the seem, do the edits and save.

I appreciate it. But I think that there is something wrong with my computer. I can't get it to connect to UID Tool, P2Ktool, or RSD lite. I was able to do a monsterpack before. But now when I plug in my phone to the computer it says there was a problem installing the hardware and makes the plugged in then unplugged noise over and over again...

I am considering reformatting my computer for the umpteenth time, and starting from scratch. I had a problem before after reformatting, when I went through the "Get Connected" Guide and it stops asking for the next driver after one or two of the drivers, and says the hardware was not properly installed.

Is there any tricks to making sure that I can get this working correctly(e.g. directx 9.0c, Macromedia Flash, SP2, virus/firewall off, etc.)? I mean, I have tried installing the drivers a good 5-6 times before at least getting RSDlite to connect enough to do a monster pack. But like I said it still didn't do it correctly.

Sorry about the novel...
Jon

you may try to install this http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30.867

The Motorola USB Driver is used for connecting your Motorola mobile device to a computer running Windows 2000 or Windows XP via a USB cable. Users must have Administrator privileges on the computer in order to install this driver. NOTE: Installation of Motorola’s Mobile Phone Tool may affect the performance of this driver. Please re-install the driver after the installation of the Mobile Phone Tool.

ok, I installed that and then It asked me to locate the Motorola USB Modem driver. So I directed it to the UID Extration Tool folder, then it installed the driver, and said you new hardware has been installed and ready to use. Then the second I try to connect with p2ktools it make the unplugged noise and then immediately makes another noise that is like dudu, I'm pretty sure that the noise means there is an error in installation.
