C975 MEM-MAP Blank.

Hi guys,one of my friends has given me a C975 that he has killed while having an attempt at modding it.The details of the phone are:-
Boot Loader 0.6.1.2
Sw Version:R245_U_82.21.91I

The phone starts up in flash mode as soon as you insert the battery and displays MEM_MAP Blank,Service Req'd

I have searched for hours looking for the original sw to flash the phone with to try and bring it back to life but I can't find it anywhere.Needless to say my mate that the phone came from made no back ups before he started playing.

Has anyone got any ideas what I can flash this thing with to revive it please.

I don't have a back up.My friend that had the phone didn't make one,so I think my only choice is to flash it with original software.

I am still searching, that fw is really hard to and it seems to be a sim-locked software.

ask your friend if he or she has a backup. :)

Thanks guys,there is no back up.It was his first attempt at modding and he decided to start flashing the phone without making a back up first.That was when things went horribly wrong and he brought the phone to me.I too have been searching for the original flash for the phone for 2 days now and I can't find it.I have read that some V980 firmware can be used with C975s but I have no idea which ones and as said above the original sw in this phone appears to be a version that was locked to "3 UK".I shall keep googling.

Good news, i got R245_U_82.21.80I and R245_U_82.21.91I, i think you shouldn't flash 91I since it's locked fw. Will upload the other one for you.

Too bad but both file archives that i download are corrupted. Downloaded again to make sure, the ones i got are corrupted archives. I'll continue to hunt that ;)

Thanks anyway,I'm still looking too.As well as google,yahoo and ask,I've also searched at 4shared and esnips but I shall keep searching as it must be available somewhere.I don't think it helps that the phone is a bit old now but I still might get lucky somewhere.
