V3re and P2K

ummmm well im very depressed about MotoModders shutting down. If thats what happened im not sure i havnet tried to go there in a long time. I just bought a V3re and obviously i want to mod it. I have the old installers of P2Ktools and the driver 2.9. I cant get it to work correctly. Can anyone help and tell me how to install the phone so that when i open up P2K it recognizes it and i can restart my phone and stuff and finally play with the files?

@ Teh_Mabe, Motomodders has gone to bed. Thats where alot of people first started Motorola Modding, for more info about that look at this thread (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132441&highlight=Motomodders). Anyway those drivers you have are very old. Download and install the newiest drivers from here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=140)

How can i get my moto v3r to work wit my p2ktool?

thanks a lot but i still cant use my phone through the new P2K tools that i DLed. I also DLed the new handset driver but all its doing is letting my phone charge via my computer. (I have XPSP2 btw) is there a walkthrough somewhere so that i can see it being done step by step (day by day). Some more detailed help would be greatly appreciated.

if it were possible i would like a walkthrough. Sorry if im being demanding but im sure you know that this is difficult-ish if you havent done it in over a year. Ive been f***ing with this thing for about 4 days and still cant get it to work. a step by step thing would help a lot.

For the longest time i could not get p2k commander 4.9.e to see the files on my v3re....

...well it was something very simple. When scanning the phone a little box would pop up saying that I could close it and continue the scan... etc. etc.
Turns out that NOT closing box all of a sudden when the operation was complete, the files were there!

So simple, but yet was frustrating me for hours. So yes, p2k commander 4.9.e works just fine for viewing the files on a v3re...

JUST DON'T CLOSE THE LITTLE BOX THAT POPS UP DURING THE SCAN... w00t!

...also I have been using the Safe setting in options for connection speed.

Still however, the latest p2k tools scans the phone, but no files are listed in the file manager (tree view). Just completes the scan, lists the total number of files in the status bar at the bottom, but no list of files ever shows up. The other functions seem to work here and there ( i have experienced a few lockups trying to scan ringtones).
